JpGU-AGU2026（https://www.jpgu.org/meeting_j2026/）（日本地球惑星科学連合大会・アメリカ地球物理学連合共催，5/24-29，幕張メッセ，ハイブリッド）において、江口菜穂准教授（応用力学研究所）が、代表コンビーナを務めるU-16 地球科学・地球環境の諸問題と地球衛星観測セッション(5/25)にて、「地球衛星観測基盤を支える宇宙プロフェッショナル人材育成」に関するポスター発表を行います。
地球観測衛星データの活用やAI・データ駆動科学を取り入れた教育を通じた宇宙分野を支える次世代高度専門人材育成の取り組みを紹介し、月・火星居住を見据えた学際的人材育成プログラム「Q-COSMIC」の提案についても紹介します。

At JpGU-AGU2026 (https://www.jpgu.org/meeting_j2026/) (co-hosted by the Japan Geoscience Union and the American Geophysical Union, May 24-29, Makuhari Messe, Hybrid), Associate Professor Nao Eguchi (Institute of Applied Mechanics), who serves as the lead convener, will present a poster on “Developing Space Professionals to Support the Earth Satellite Observation Infrastructure” at the U-16 Earth Science and Environment Issues and Earth Satellite Observation Session (May 25). She will introduce initiatives to cultivate the next generation of highly specialized personnel who will support the space field through the utilization of Earth observation satellite data and education incorporating AI and data-driven science, and will also introduce a proposal for an interdisciplinary human resource development program “Q-COSMIC” with a view to lunar and Martian habitation.
